stuffed peppers
Ingredients
6 large green peppers1/2 kg ground meat1 onion1 scallion2 tomatoes1 cup of ricesalt, pepper, oragano
DIRECTIONS
- Cut of the tops of green peppers, discard seeds and membranes.
- Chop enough of the tops to make 1/4 cup.
- Blend the tomatoes with the onion, the scallion and the seasoning
- In a skillet cook ground beef til meat is browned.
- Add the sauce and let it cook for 20 minutes.
- Add the rice and let it cook for 5 minutes.
- Stuff the peppers with the meat mixture.
- Bake covered in 180 degrees C for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
